Hypnotherapy is similar to a guided meditation with positive affirmations. It's just
like daydreaming; when you tune out external activities and drift off into your own
thoughts. This enables you to achieve your goals and make choices for yourself. It's
an opportunity for you to take time out and experience deep relaxation whilst receiving
beneficial therapeutic suggestions, helping you to become the person you want to
be.

The client is in full control at all times and the therapist never has any power over a client, regardless of what is projected by stage hypnotists and the media.

People can be hypnotised against their will
No one can be hypnotised against their will. This has been proven many times. If you're told to do something against your nature you simply don't do it.
